CENTRIFUGAL BLAST WHEEL
WHEEL:
The direct drive blast wheel revolves at 3600 RPM for maximum abrasive velocity. 10" diameter wheel with 4 curved blades 2" wide is standard. Balanced wheel components assure smooth operation.
BLADES:
Unique snap lock design eases blade replacement. Cast from abrasive resistant alloy to insure maximum life. Curved blade design provides maximum abrasive control.
CONTROL CAGE:

WHEEL HOUSING:
Fabricated from 1/4" steel plate. Housing is completely lined with cast alloy steel liners. All liners are replaceable.
CABINET CONSTRUCTION
CABINET:
Low profile, formed to maintain structural integrity, the cabinet is fabricated from 1/4" steel plate. Access holes in sides of cabinet simplify belt replacement. Access door in back of cabinet permits removal of tramp metal collected on abrasive screen. |
DOOR:
Pneumatically locked polyurethane door opens and closes easily and provides full access to airless blast chamber. Door is positively sealed from abrasive and dust leakage.
MILL CONSTRUCTION
CONVEYOR:
Continuous molded rubber tumble belt is 2-ply construction with 1/8" diameter abrasive drain holes. Rubber tumbling ridges are molded directly onto the belt.
CONVEYOR ROLLERS:
Rollers have 1 3/16" diameter solid shafts. All rollers are mounted to the cabinet with standard (4) bolt flange bearings.
CONVEYOR SPEED:
4.8 feet per minute.
CAPACITY:
17" wide x 20" diameter mill will handle 1.25 cubic feet or 150 pounds.

ABRASIVE RECYCLING SYSTEM
ELEVATOR:
Centrifugal discharge belt and bucket elevator is dust-tight. Removable cover permits service and inspection. Unique separator design provides continuous air wash of abrasive which removes dirt and unusable abrasive. Screw adjusted take-ups provide positive belt adjustment.
ABRASIVE SCREENING:
Abrasive screening in cabinet eliminates tramp metal from entering blast wheel. |

Type 12 electrical enclosure, thermal overload protection for all motors, optional single phase operation, 230/460 volt ammeter, and oil tight push button controls. Timber controls both abrasive flow and blast wheel motor. Mill lockout for blast pattern test.
ELECTRIC MOTORS:
All motors are totally enclosed fan cooled to provide maximum life. Unit optionally equipped with 230 volt single phase or 230/460 volt 3 phase.
